Communicator) is a presence management and collaboration application
that integrates with the Mitel 5000 Communications Platform (CP). It

Mitel Audio and Web Conferencing (AWC; formerly Inter-Tel Audio and

web conferencing solution. AWC supports up to 200 audio and web
conferencing ports and is the perfect solution for connecting people
together quickly and simply, regardless of their location.

video conferencing by connecting remote participants in a real-time
collaborative environment that can rival or exceed what is readily
achieved through face-to-face communications.
Mitel Quick Conference provides a simple, flexible and scalable
audio conferencing solution for connecting people together quickly to
solve a business problem, manage a sales team or organize a project
meeting. Quick Conference scales up to 200 ports.
Mitel Live Business Gateway enables enterprises to implement
IP-based solutions through a smooth, intelligent evolution. Working in
conjunction with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, a
SIP-based presence and collaboration server, the Mitel / Microsoft
partnership delivers advanced applications for global communication and
collaboration.
An end user can establish calls from a Microsoft Office Communicator
client, acting as a basic SIP softphone, to or from a Mitel desk phone,
the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), or any other
network-connected PBX. The term PC-to-Phone encompasses calls between
PC to PSTN, phone to PC, and PSTN to PC. This solution is typically
used by mobile employees who do not have a desk phone but instead want
to use the embedded SIP softphone capability within the Communicator
2007 client.
Dual forking with remote call control (RCC) is targeted at users who
want the combination of using their Communicator client with a Mitel
desk phone when in the office or at home (using a Mitel Teleworker
Solution phone) and using Communicator as a SIP softphone when
travelling or away from their desk phone.
